ON THE MOVE

Dax has been trying to walk for the longest time. He'd take a few steps here and there and then fall. Now, he's walking like a champ. When he does fall he'll crawl over to the wall, stand up and take off again. He loves it. He gets so excited when he walks for a long time. We're so proud of this boy.

1ST BIRTHDAY

I can't believe one year has flown bye. Wow that was fast! It has been an awesome year. Dax has been so fun. We love him so much. We got him this suit for his birthday. He looks like a little boy now, no longer a baby. He looks so adorable in these pictures. The second picture shows how big his top teeth are getting. Who needs chicklets?

For Dax's birthday we had our families over for dinner. My mom made delicious cheesy potato soup. Yum! Thanks mom. We opened gifts and watched Dax dive into his first cake. He wasn't so sure but he did like the icing. What a mess! He got lots of fun toys from everyone and a cute outfit from Chris and Crystal. Thank you everyone for coming and sharing Dax's birthday with us. We love our families and are grateful for their love and support.

Lovin the music

Dax got this toy for his birthday. The kids got a kick out of it. They thought it was so cool. Dax loves the music. Anytime he hears music, wheather it's a toy, the radio or the Friends theme song playing on the T.V. he has to dance. Way cute!

TWILIGHT

For all you Twilight fans. Last night was the night. My friend and I went to the opening show at midnight. I can't believe I actually stayed awake. It was awesome. Not as many people dressed up as I thought they would. I definitely did not dress up. I really thought the movie was done very well. I didn't like Edward at first, I thought his haircut made him look like Frankenstein, but at the end I really liked him. The kiss scenes helped a bit too.

Now for the rest of my day, I woke up at 5:30 and went to the gym, I'll drop Dax off at the babysitters for a couple of hours while I go to work from 11:00 - 1:30 and then we're going over to our friends house to watch Get Smart. What a fun day. I have to say I haven't done something like this in a long time. And I really enjoyed it aside from the fact that I'm so tired. Oh well I'll sleep tomorrow. Have a good day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAYLEE

It was Baylee's birthday in July but we got a kick out of these pictures. She got a lot of cool stuff but the coolest thing was the swim gear she got from Grandma.



Everyone had to try them on. It was pretty hilarious.

Even Addison wanted a turn. They are way cute girls with lots of personality. We love it!

Sometimes we just don't know where they get it from.

GO BATTY!

For Halloween Dax was a little bat. He was so adorable and he left his hat on the whole time. He loved it.

This was Dax's first Halloween. We had a full day. We canned applesauce in the morning. Dax took a nap and I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. We visited my work, Scott's work, Scott's mom's work and Scott's brother Chris's work. Crystal, my sister-in-law came with me. Her two little girls were way cute as well. Later that night we put our tattoos on our pumpkins. We opted for the tattoos because Scott thinks that carving pumpkins stinks. He can't stand the smell and I figured Dax has many more years to come of being able to feel the goo inside the pumpkins. We also had our ward party that night, with chili and cinnamon rolls, with a trunk or treat at the end. To wrap up the day we visited Scott's Aunt Elaine, his grandparents and then his parents. Dax was hammered by the night but I think overall he had a great day. Oh except he did puke three times that day. Still happy though. He's such a good boy. We love him.

These two pictures were taken at Scott's moms house at nine o'clock. All of the kids were already in their pj's and had to get back in their costumes. They were not the most cooperative or the happiest. But say cheese. Happy Halloween.
