Lagoon Fun!

Lagoon was awesome!  Dax and Rhett had so much fun.  They had a bunch of rides for them to ride. Surprisingly a lot of bigger rides too like, Tidal Wave, Rattle Snake Rapids, Log Ride, and two fun big roller coasters.  Lagoona Beach wasn't as cool as we thought.  The boys weren't able to ride any slides.  What a bummer.  We just rode the water rides instead.

Lagoon!

Scott got brave and went on their new ride called Wicked.  I went on the best ride there that raises you to the sky and then suddenly drops you.  There was one called Dinosaur Drop and Lady Bug Bop that was just like the one I rode but kid version.  We all rode that one.  I think it was Dax's and Rhett's favorite.  While we were waiting for Scott we decided to take some funny pictures of us being silly.  Kind of fun. Dax's face expressions are the best.

CAMPING AT CUB RIVER!

We took the boys camping up at my parents spot up Cub River Canyon.  We fished, four wheeled, played hard and ate good food.  Rhett wasn't much into the fishing thing, he was more concerned about breaking sticks over his knee like dad.  Everybody enjoyed the four wheeler ride, but Rhett ended up falling asleep on the way back to camp.

HAWAII IN FEBRUARY!

We went to Hawaii with two of our friends in February. Chris and Heidi Beck and Nate and Alice Anderson. Is all I can say is it was the best vacation I have ever had. We will definitely be back.

Just a little side note. Scott is blind for all those who don't know and can't wear contacts, so when he surfed and boarded he wore his prescription snorkel glasses. We laughed pretty hard as so did many others I'm sure. At least he could see and had fun.

CHRISTAMAS 2010!

This year Christmas was at my moms house. Scott got his deer mounted, which he actually won't get back until April. I basically got money for Hawaii, Dax and Rhett got a train table, books, some DVDs and a whole lot of chocolate. Christmas was very relaxing which is just what I wanted. We had an awesome Christmas!

FIRST HUNT!

Dax had his first hunting experience with his dad. He loved being outside walking around the river bottoms. The first thing he said after Scott shot the rabbit was, "Can I take it home and put it on my wall?" Scott has a bear and some deer hanging on his wall downstairs in his room and I guess Dax wanted to be just like dad. Pretty cute!

HEADLIGHTS, DUMP TRUCKS, BLANKETS

This year Dax got quite a few headlights. He's made forts with them, he reads his books in the dark and for whatever other reason he can come up with to have it on his head, he does. Rhett and Dax love playing with their dump trucks. Rhett loves to go on rides and Dax loves to push him. They both are little dare devils. They think it's funny to stand inside the truck and yes both of them have got bruises to show they got bucked off. Both Dax and Rhett love their blue blankets. Rhett likes to tease Dax and steal his as soon as he lets go.

BIRTHDAY BOYS!

The boys birthdays came and went really fast. Dax now three and Rhett one. Dax and Rhett both loved their cakes, except when it got too messy. Dax particularly loved his train pinata. I can't believe how fast they've grown and how they get funner and funner the older they get. I love my two boys a lot and I am excited for what else is to come. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

HALLOWEEN 2010!

We had a fun Halloween this year. Dax was (in his words) a big bad red dinosaur and Rhett was a tiny little turtle. We took pictures with his cousins on Scott's side of the family. Jett was a skunk, Baylee was a witch and had an awesome nose, Addison was Snow White and Maddex was spiderman. All great costumes.

SUCCESS!

Scott got a good size deer this year. He wasn't able to go out a lot, but in the end he came out with an awesome deer.
Luckily there is a girl at my work who loves deer meat. She begs me for it. GROSS! But it's awesome that she loves it so I don't have to eat it.
Scott kept the head and for Christmas he's getting it mounted which he is super stoked about.

Great job babes. And might I add, he shot it at 514 yards away. Amazing! I don't know a better hunter than Scott.

Potato Harvest!

Scott took Dax out one night to drive tractor with his Uncle Chris in the potato field. (Scott's brother) He wanted to drive all by himself, so Chris let him drive 150 ft all by himself. Dax was pretty proud of himself.
Dax doesn't have his hat on in this picture, but he wanted to wear a red hat just like dad. If you look in the picture above he has one on just like Scott. Pretty dang cute.

ROSS PARK!

We had a lot of fun going to the swimming pool this year. We were only able to go a couple of times, but enjoyed it. We look forward to going again next year and hopefully more than we went this year.

FRESH PEAS!

This summer we loved to pick peas out of our garden and sit on the grass to eat them. Both Dax and Rhett loved them and would eat them by the handfull. I'm pretty proud about my garden. This is the first year I've done it all by myself and it turned out pretty good.

CAMPING IN ISLAND PARK!

In August we went camping with Scott's family in Island Park and had a great time. Dax loved fishing with his dad and pulling Rhett around in the wagon. He also enjoyed riding his bike with all the kids. Our camping trips always include card playing, floating the river, fishing, riding bikes and enjoying the campfire with s'mores.

This year we were able to go see the play of Beauty and the Beast put on in West Yellowstone. What a treat. It's not the best picture of all of us but we enjoyed our time there. Dax was a little scared of the Beast but warmed up to him at the end. What great memories we have of camping.

AIRSHOW!

Scott took Dax to the air show on Saturday in Idaho Falls. The Blue Angels came. Dax hasn't stopped talking about them since. In his prayers he always makes sure he blesses the blue airplanes in the air before he finishes the prayer.

Dax loves vacuums. He loves to get them all out. And yes we have four vacuums. The two on the ends are Dax's and the two in the middle are mine. Dax loves vacuum so we vacuum any chance we get.
Rhett thinks he's big enough to stand up to things now.
He also thinks he's big enough to climb. He'll climb his crib, the tub, the stool, the stairs it doesn't matter they are all fun.
Dax thinks he pretty cool to be able to feed Rhett. He's such a big brother, feeding, rough housing or just giving loves.
