CHRISTMAS IN LOGAN!
This year all of my family was home for Christmas. My sister Amy and her family drove from Spokane, Stacy was there, and Mitch and his fiance Tiffany were there. We were able to do alot of things together. On Christmas Eve we went to my Aunt Susan's house and ate and did gifts. I think the funnest part was sledding behind her house. I don't know what Dax thought of it, in fact he biffed it a few times face first in the snow.
On Friday we did some shopping and ate at Olive Garden. That night we went to my Grandma Hyer's house and did some more eating and opening gifts. I think Dax liked the boxes the best. Any box he could find to stand on even if it was only two inches off the ground he did. Stacy got guitar hero for Christmas and I swear that's all we did on Christmas day. I think one period of time was six hours straight.
It was so fun to be with family during the holidays. Dax loved playing with his cousins Aidan and Jack. And we all enjoyed getting to know Tiffany better. Thanks mom and dad for all that you did for us that weekend. We enjoy coming home and visiting. We love you.
KATIE AND TYLER'S NEW BABY
Maddex and Dax played pretty well together. I'm sure they both enjoyed having someone their size to play and interact with.
I think they were both watching Cars while sitting in Maddex's Car couch. Pretty cute!
Thank you Katie for letting us help you. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed being able to talk with you. We love Jett and all of you so much.

FUTURE DRIVER
This is just a picture of Dax when he fell asleep after a long day of running errands. We came home and before I was going to put him down for his nap, I thought I would give him a snack. I was doing some bills and noticed he was being very quiet (which is weird). I looked over and zonked, out cold. He didn't eat much of that apple as you can see. Tired boy!
THANKSGIVING WITH FAMILY. THE BEST!
This Thanksgiving was with Scott's extended side of the family. The Poole side to be more specific. It's always nice to visit with the people you don't see very often. Later that evening his mom's sister and family came over and we played Bunko which was way fun. We blocked the kiddos in the living room so we didn't have to worry about them while we played games. I felt kind of bad but it was nice not to have to worry about Dax going down the stairs.
Scott's sister Katie and her husband Tyler and boy Maddex came over from Boise. It was so nice to see them and have the kids all play together. Katie is due at the end of December. We can't wait to see her little boy and have another cousin to play with.
BLACK FRIDAY
Ever since Scott and I have been married, I've gone shopping the day after Thanksgiving with his mom and sister. It is such a blast. I love it. I can't really sleep the night before. Just thoughts going through my head all night. I kind of compare it to the night before Scott goes hunting. Kim is always a good sport and comes with us to stand in line while us girls shop. Thank you for making it such a fun day.

ON THE MOVE
Dax has been trying to walk for the longest time. He'd take a few steps here and there and then fall. Now, he's walking like a champ. When he does fall he'll crawl over to the wall, stand up and take off again. He loves it. He gets so excited when he walks for a long time. We're so proud of this boy.
1ST BIRTHDAY
Lovin the music
Dax got this toy for his birthday. The kids got a kick out of it. They thought it was so cool. Dax loves the music. Anytime he hears music, wheather it's a toy, the radio or the Friends theme song playing on the T.V. he has to dance. Way cute!

TWILIGHT
Now for the rest of my day, I woke up at 5:30 and went to the gym, I'll drop Dax off at the babysitters for a couple of hours while I go to work from 11:00 - 1:30 and then we're going over to our friends house to watch Get Smart. What a fun day. I have to say I haven't done something like this in a long time. And I really enjoyed it aside from the fact that I'm so tired. Oh well I'll sleep tomorrow. Have a good day!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAYLEE
Everyone had to try them on. It was pretty hilarious.
Oh, yeah we do! That's a nice look for you Chris. You look awesome.

GO BATTY!
This was Dax's first Halloween. We had a full day. We canned applesauce in the morning. Dax took a nap and I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. We visited my work, Scott's work, Scott's mom's work and Scott's brother Chris's work. Crystal, my sister-in-law came with me. Her two little girls were way cute as well. Later that night we put our tattoos on our pumpkins. We opted for the tattoos because Scott thinks that carving pumpkins stinks. He can't stand the smell and I figured Dax has many more years to come of being able to feel the goo inside the pumpkins. We also had our ward party that night, with chili and cinnamon rolls, with a trunk or treat at the end. To wrap up the day we visited Scott's Aunt Elaine, his grandparents and then his parents. Dax was hammered by the night but I think overall he had a great day. Oh except he did puke three times that day. Still happy though. He's such a good boy. We love him.
These two pictures were taken at Scott's moms house at nine o'clock. All of the kids were already in their pj's and had to get back in their costumes. They were not the most cooperative or the happiest. But say cheese. Happy Halloween.Friday, October 31, 2008
A FUN FILLED WEEK
The boys played so well together it was fun to watch them entertain each other. We tried so hard to get a good picture of them all, but this is the best we got. Aidan tried so hard to keep them sitting up and smiling, he's so cute.
We had such a great weekend. I love spending time with my family. Aidan and Jack are so fun, what cute good little boys. Thank you for letting us come visit, we loved it. Hopfully we will be able to do it again soon. Maybe Scott will be able to come next time. He wished he would of been able to be there. We love you. See you in December.

2008 DEER HUNT
Here is Chris with his bag of sandwiches that his wife made for him. What a lucky guy.
Here is the poor deer, or is it poor Scott for carrying the deer. This was a good sized deer and Scott proudly hauled this thing up a steep hill and then down to the truck. Way to go Scott! That's my husband for you. Hot and tough. I think he got his workout for the month.
Here is his deer hung up in the tree. We put it in our front yard and high enough so animals wouldn't get to it. On Monday on my way out the door to work, I look at the tree and the deer was not hanging there anymore. It kind of freaked me out so I got Scott and this is what we discovered.
Our two neighbors thought it would be hilarious to kidnap Scott's deer and replace it with this stuffed animal. I think it's a kangaroo but it worked. We suspected it was our neighbors so Scott thought it would be funny to have a cop who is in our ward show up with his lights flashing and take pictures and be professional about the whole thing. Well as soon as our neighbor saw the cop car he comes barreling out of his house down the road yelling at Scott "It's alright I took your deer!"
I have to give our neighbors credit, they did a really good job at dressing up this animal. The had a white shirt to represent the white bags wrapped around the meat, blue tape around the belly to represent the strap, and a pencil in between the legs for the stick. Well done Bret and Kent.
It was pretty hilarious, but I think in the end Scott got the last laugh.

FAMILY CAMPING
In August we went camping with Scott's family to Mormon Bend Campground just outside of Stanley, Idaho. Like always, we had a really great time. A lot of work goes into it all, but once we get up there and situated we're able to just relax and enjoy each others company. This was Dax's first camping experience and besides not sleeping at night he did awesome. It gets really cold up there at night. Even Scott and I froze. During the day when it was warmer we fished, floated the river, soaked in the hot pots, played cards till late at night, ate good food and visited Stanley Lake. In years past we've always gone to Red Fish Lake so we decided to go to Stanley Lake this year. It is so pretty up there, the scenery is amazing.
Our tent is kind of scary looking. We started out in the grass but then the camp manager said we had to move since the tents can only go on the tent designated area, so we moved to the black top. With no place to tack down our tent we jimmy rigged it to the trees. Pretty sad looking. We're just glad it didn't blow away.
Maddex enjoyed pulling Dax around in the wagon, Baylee and Addison enjoyed the water and playing in the dirt. Overall we had a great time and look forward to going next year.

Eastern Idaho State Fair
The Eastern Idaho State Fair came to Blackfoot. It was a blast. We enjoyed being with our friends and family. My family came up from Wellsville to spend the day with us. We loved the petting zoo and of course the food (curly fries, tiger ears, funnel cakes, teriyaki chicken rice bowl, pepsi by the gallons, fried snickers bar and much much more).
